Deep Dive
Actual natural body health & healing.
Food is medicine…feed it to heal it. Every ingredient has a mechanism specific to maintaining health and/or activating healing. NO toxic fragrances.
Poke around this page for a deep dive into the ingredients I use and why. I adhere to an incredibly high standard of quality and efficacy, and I hold to a fierce simplicity that aligns with divine design.
The body is a healing tool. All my offerings are made to help the body do it’s natural healing process…not over-ride it. Enjoy how magical your body works when given the right nourishment. The feedback on my offerings continue to grow and blow my mind, I wonder what your “wow” story will be…
Please read, do more research if you feel called, and then give my stuff a try.
The ingredients I use…
Beef Tallow. I source my beef fat from family ranches that adhere to regenerative practices. This mean the cows are grass-fed and grass-finished on rotating pastures that aren’t treated with harmful pesticides. The cows are not given MRNA vaccines and anti-biotics are avoided. I am picky about getting the fat from a cow who is harvested on the land and not a facility. All off these factors ensure I’m getting the cleanest, most nutrient dense fat. I render the fat using a water and salt process so the tallow is free from any un-natural deodorizers while keeping the fat smell to a minimum. It also ensures longer shelf stability.
Deep dive into Tallow…
Did you know that the body uses cholesterol to convert sunlight into vitamin D? Tallow is rich with cholesterol…do you see what I’m getting at? My skin food helps our bodies make vitamin D! (stop using sunscreen and build a responsible, health building relationship with the sun)
Vitamin A: Tallow has more Vitamin A than muscle meat and bone marrow.
Vitamin D: See first point. Vitamin D is essential to immune system health.
Vitamin E: Potent antioxidant. Prevents LDL from getting oxidized.
Vitamin K: Cofactor of binding to calcium, which helps produce new skin cells.
The high oleic acid content in beef tallow enhances its moisturizing properties, improves skin penetration, provides anti-inflammatory benefits, exhibits antioxidant activity, and contributes to the stability of skin care formulations.
Tallow closely resembles the lipids found in the skin, allowing it to effectively restore and repair the skins’ natural barrier. This enhances its ability to retain moisture, leading to improved skin texture and resilience.
Tallow forms a barrier on the skin's surface, acting as a protective shield against harsh weather conditions, pollution, and UV radiation.
Wild Yarrow. I often say “what can’t yarrow do?” And I mean it…I have had so much healing from this beauty. From the energetic, spiritual, emotional, AND physical…Yarrow is my go-to and occasional hail-mary. I have found North Idaho to be the “Great Mother”. She speaks the truth you need to hear so you can shift into what you need to be…and she does it with love so you can be resilient. She is the strongest, wisest, boldest feminine energy…she is clear in her voice and her reasons. I harvest Yarrow in the wild woods of North Idaho and have found it to be the most potent, gentle, and delicious compared to other regions.
Deep dive into Yarrow…
Yarrow is used for: acne, wound healing, stops bleeding, toothaches, skin disorders, colds, flu, sore throat, fevers, blood pressure, blood detox, urinary tract infections, inflammation in the digestive system, regulating menstrual pain, arthritis, varicose veins, and hemorrhoids.
Yarrow is good for burns, rashes and bites due to it’s potent anti-inflammatory properties.
The astringent quality of Yarrow cleanses and detoxes.
Prevents scarring.
Promotes blood flow.
Anti-bacterial and Anti-microbial.
Yarrow tones, calms, and nourishes the skin.
Moves mucus and stuck-ness.
Pine. I combine white pine needles and pine pollen that I gather from the wild woods of North Idaho. Like Yarrow, Pine is incredibly versatile and aids in the healing of multiple layers, symptom, and systems. For me, Pine stands as the “Great Father”. Stoic and holds the line for things being fluid in a steady way. Promotes peace, longevity, and functionality. He holds the edges of the great mother while she comforts and loves…and derives joy from seeing others happy. He rises above to see what is on the horizon and prepares for what is coming. Pine is the friendliest, most generous, masculine energy. He calls to the greater vision.
Deep dive into Pine…
Pine needles open and clears. (lungs, metabolic pathways, pineal gland, etc)
Pine needles are extremely high in Vitamin C.
Anti-bacterial, expectorant, anti-septic, and pain reliever.
Pine calms the nervous system due to it’s grounding and adaptive abilities.
Anti-aging properties
Pine help build muscle, promotes longevity, enhances libido, and increases energy.
Pine needle is one of the highest natural sources of shikimic acid and will promote the health of the microbiome as well as reducing inflammation and being anti-fungal.
Comfrey. I grow and harvest both varieties in my yard and use one for soil and one for medicine. It amends and breaks through blockages. It completes my healing power of 3 with Pine and Yarrow because of these qualities. I have found comfrey to be the healthy relationship that brings the divine masculine and divine feminine into action for the most reliant growth possible. It is both the innocent and the wise. It is both soft and strong. It brings things together, while creating abundant pathways of healthy growth. It regenerates to restore and creates more of what needs to be. It oozes with the love of a wild freedom.
Deep dive into comfrey…
Vitamin C, Calcium and Magnesium.
Comfrey contains Allantoin, which is able to accelerate the process of new tissue growth.
Comfrey contains rosmarinic acid, which helps to relieve pain and inflammation.
Called “knitbone”, Comfrey has been prized since ancient times for its ability to help heal broken bones and damaged tissues.
Astringent.
And as the name implies…comforts the wound.
Amplifies the healing process already happening while adding it’s own healing mechanism to the mix.
The others…
I use raw, oragnic cocoa butter in my skin food because it adds a yummy smell and firmer texture while also providing the additional protective layers that it known for.
The yarrow, pine and comfrey are infused into a sunflower seed oil that I am happy to have found. Now, I need to say something about this. Seed oils are something we know to stay away from in ultra-processed foods, right? Sunflower seed oil is not those kinds of seed oils. I get my infusion oil from HERE. I love it! It is lightweight so it soaks right into your skin. It’s nutritious without being a huge strain on water and land to produce. I have found it holds the plant matter in a way that lets the plant properties shine. Olive oil tends to overpower the plants…but not sunflower.
And that’s it! Make sure to stock up on fall and spring…I don’t ship in the summer. (local pickup only in the summer)
